Before printing on fabric was developed, the ancient Japanese used shibori, a resist technique to preserve white designs on the fabric when it was dipped into the indigo. In this class we’ll learn some basic shibori techniques and apply them to paper, which can be used to make greeting or note cards, used as wrapping paper, made into a collage, folded into origami designs, or wherever your imagination takes you!
