Otto Ramstad of BodyCartography

This solo dance is a work in progress. I am looking at and learning the materiality of the body. How has my family heritage of people and landscapes; my lineage of dance, led me to where I am? How have my early experiences with Body-Mind Centering, Suzanne River, and the improvisational approaches of Steve Paxton and Lisa Nelson, woven together a web that has informed me? 

This is a very special opportunity to approach this work in the context of my mother Josie Winship’s art exhibition.
